How Can a Guest View a Profile?

Hii, I am using SMF 1.1.14 and the Default theme.  When I clicked on Users Online I saw this:

Guest (109.230.213.184) 09:58:01 PM Viewing mlisettecarrl's profile.

The IP of the guest shows no registered User with that IP.

My Guests have 0 Permissions.

How is this possible??

they are ATTEMPTING to view the page, but not succeeding, try it yourself. the who's online page does not know the difference on if the attempt succeeds or not

Yeah, I recognize that IP. Spam/hackerbot that just punches up php code to get that result, using a u=somenumber, and it's often a 1.

Illori is right, get into a habit of changing browsers if you have to, or logging out... Then see just what a guest can do.

It will make you rest better at night. The same thing is true with each permission level/membergroup.

Make a dummy account, change it's permission levels to test what a membergroup can see or do.
