Changing themes in admin

Just upgraded to SMF 2.0 and when I go to Admin/Themes/Manage and install and try to set the forum default, nothing changes.  No that's not quite true - it changes once, but then if I try to change back or pick another theme it wont change.

I have SP 2.3.3 installed and the theme changer works fine on that but I need to reset for everyone. There's nothing in the error log and I've checked the paths - any ideas please?

what theme are you trying to use? did you make sure that it is checked that this theme can be selected by users as well?

it was set so that users could choose their theme and it affected every theme Illori - but I't just checked it again and it seems to have righted itself somehow.
