I would like to be able to remove the forum background so only my blocks are left with their backgrounds. My goal is to be able to see my portal with all the blocks and have a static background. I have already gotten the static background but cannot find the correct code in index.css. I have searched on the forum before posting this so I apologize if it was posted already.

You may be better to ask the author of whichever theme you are using.

We cannot help without knowing the theme being used.

The theme is just a backup of the original, that come with SMF. Here is the link to my site. I want to be able to see the back ground pic but still have boarders around all boxes. I hope that makes since, I have done it on Phpbb but can't seem to figure it out here...  I have been in the Index.css for hours now and can't find it hxxp:www.redsquarelectronics.com/Valhalla/index.php [nonactive]

You're mostly gonna be looking for instances of main_block.png in index.css

Classes with "_section" in their names should be the ones you're after.
