Where is the 'mission statement' or first page welcome message?

I want to add a mission statement for the first page and don't know what it is called. I've been searching the documentation and cannot find the name it is called. I know that it was added in 2.0.

The desciption or welcome message explaining the forum. I was into SMF a year ago and then just got back into since 2.0 is now out. I remember it was going to be added

I want to add a paragraph that explains what the site is for so that anyone visiting the site can see before they join. I guess I am not asking for it by the right name.

You can modify the registration agreement. Another option would be, utilize one of the portal mods to create a landing page to explain your site.

A front page like that would probably be easiest to do with a portal. So start by checking out the Portals on the mod site

If you just want to add a single block to add code/text to then look at
