Docs for converting 1.x themes to 2.x?

I recently upgraded my forum from SMF 1.X to 2.X, and everything went find except that our custom theme ended up completely unusable. I've searched the forum but, surprisingly, can't find anything talking about or linking to docs on what one needs to change to adapt a 1.X theme to 2.X. Could someone please help get me started?

As SMF 2.x uses an total other Engine than we used in the 1.1.x series Custom Themes need total rewritten from scratch, There is no documentation available for that yet.

It would probably be best to make a new theme using 2.0 to resemble your 1.1.x theme - the core theme, which your 1.1.x theme was more than likely based on is included in the 2.0 package so it would be a case of transfer the styling of the theme onto the 2.0 core theme using the images from your custom theme and using things like the font colors and so forth from the style.css of you custom theme to edit the index.css in the css folder in 2.0 which has replaced the style.css.
