Links in forum are not working properly

Version: SMF 1.1.14
Forum Link: hxxp:forum.mobiledgl.com [nonactive]
Problem: When I try to navigate through the site, I get one of two problems. 

#1, I get a "Website restore error" page that reads "We are unable to return you to mobiledgl.com.  Internet Explorer has stopped trying to restore this website.  It appears that the website continues to have a problem."  I noticed that "res://ieframe.dll/acr_error.htm#mobiledgl.com," is always listed in the address bar before the actual address when this happens.

#2, and this one happens more often, the webpage closes and opens back up.  It then gives me the message "This tab has been recovered.  A problem with this webpage has caused Internet Explorer to close and reopen the tab".

I don't know of any changes that were made to cause this to started happening.  It first started with an error after every few pages, but now it happens almost every time I click a link.

it looks like you dont allow guests to view any boards, so it makes it hard to figure out the problem if we cant really click any links.

Settings changed.  Guests can see the boards now.

is this an issue that you alone are seeing or are other users of your forum having this issue?

I've had others mention it, so I'm assuming everyone is having the issue.  I know it happens to me at work using Explorer and at home using Chrome.

mods installed? does it happen if you use the default theme?

I switched to the default theme and everything is working okay now.  I guess something is wrong with the theme I had, though it originally worked correctly, so I don't really understand what happened to it.
