Anti Spam

Recently i updated to smf 1.1.14 and suddenly spam bots started to spam in my forum so... i installed two modes that are supposed to help:

• reCAPTCHA for SMF
• notCaptcha

but it seems it has no effect... do you guys have any ideas how i can stop this spam bots from registering in the forum and post spam topics?

I can't find a MOD to stop spam post or is there a Mod that can require verification before post? please help.

I found a mod that detects which user is spam bot and which is not but you must make the registration to be on mod " Member Approval" which means that you will have to approve the new members... and this mod will tell which members are spam bots and you can reject their registrations...

Did that solve your problem, or do you need more information about anti-spam measures for SMf 1.X?
