Groups and post count stars

Hi

I have a question :

Non-group members of my forum have the stars (or other icon) showing based on their number of messages, but whenever I put them in an group, they dont have the icon anymore, it takes the image setting from their group. How do I get rid of this and make that group members have more and more stars based on number of messages as non group members ?

While I'm at it, I'd like to get rid of the total number of messages being displayed with messages under the member name, how do I do that ?

If you set the membergroup not to have any stars at all, it should show the postgroups.  I can't remember if 1.0 worked this way, but I'm pretty sure 1.1 does and I thought 1.0 did.

You'd have to edit the Display template to remove the post count by each post.  How do I modify files?

Well, when I remove the filename of the picture, I have a * instead of the icon it should have

Set it to 0 stars.
