admin is "guest"

I just noticed that the title under the admin account of one of my boards is " Guest" i cant for the life of me figuire out how to turn that off or change it.

The below queries will add you back as an administrator on an SMF forum. Don't forget to replace smf_ with your database prefix.

Run this query in phpMyAdmin:

UPDATE smf_members SET ID_GROUP = '1' WHERE memberName = 'adminsusername'

I am running into issues, say my database is named jointeam_smf1 and my admin user name is "admin"

UPDATE jointeammembers SET ID_GROUP = '1' WHERE memberName = 'admin'
returns this:
#1046 - No database selected
if i select a database in the left hand column and run the same query i get:
#1146 - Table 'teamview_smf1.jointeammembers' doesn't exist
if i add and underscore i get
#1146 - Table 'teamview_smf1.jointeam_members' doesn't exist

I guess i just need a little more specific direction in how to add my specific database to the query

you need select the database on the left side, then run the query in the sql tab and you only need to include the prefix and the table name in the query.

strange i just looked back at the account, and the administrator title is there

If i recall correctly i did indeed accidentally delete the admin account a long time ago and reset it, i inquired about the "guest" status because i saw it as such in a post i was perusing that i may have made during that time and forgotten it had already been resolved, could a post that was made before the reset still retain the "guest" characteristic even the the underlying issue( database correction) been since resolved?  May i just reacted when i saw the old post and didn't check the current status.

that account will always be a guest there is no way to fix that in 1.1.1*
