When I click on the members tab (h**p://www.myforum.com/smf/mlist/) on top of my forum (not in Admin) I get this error message:

An Error Has Occurred!
Hacker?

I'm on smf 1.1.14 and have the pretty urls mod installed. I also manual edited the sources/querystring file when I upgraded from 1.1.12 to 1.1.13.

TDNY wrote in an other topic:
LainaaI fixed this by going into the sources/querystring file and changing the manual edits from the upgrade from 1.1.12 to 1.1.13. I remember that file failed because it conficted with pretty urls, good thing I had the backup copy of that file to re-do the edits and upload 8)

I tried to reverse the manual edit of the querystring file, but it did not work for me.

Any ideas?

first try to uninstall pretty urls it causes people more issues then it is worth usually. reapply the change to that file to it is as it should be and see if the error happens again. if it does not post in the pretty urls support thread or live without it as it is not as useful as it could be.

Thanks, I figured it out. Manual edit did not work. So I used this "noob method" which seems to have worked for me:

I uninstalled and deleted Pretty URLS and the 1.1.13 an 1.1.4 updates, so I was back at 1.1.12. I ignored the errorr warning regarding the Querystring.php file.
I replaced the QueryString.php file with a fresh QueryString.php from the archieved 1.1.12 smf installation package.
I updated again to 1.1.13 and 1.1.14; no errors
I downloaded the latest Pretty URLs version and applied that mod too trough the packages manager; no errors

Seems to work ...
