Help with SMF2.0

Ok I might be putting this in the wrong area, so Sorry if I have.

I have just installed SMF 2.0, and managed to apply the Battlefiled 3 theme. Worked out how to change the background image and so forth and so on, but have struck a few issues.

One: When I put in my logo using the configuration panel/Theme settings, it overlays the login box, I would of thought the forum would of moved down to fit in the image but it doesn't. I have tried GIF PNG and JPEG formats but to no avail. Is there something I am missing here, as I would like the clan's banner to be centered and a bit larger than the area above the login box. How can I do this?
HALF FIXED: managed to increase the size of the top section, but still having difficulties getting the logo in the middle of the page

Two: I would like the background to stay stationary when people scroll down through the forums.
FIXED: LOL literally

Three: As the background image is rather heavy and complex, and I notice that the theme has Transparent fields for the posts and around the EzPortal blocks, is there a way to make these fields less transparent?
FIXED: got this one worked out, just had to edit the windowbg.png and windowbg2.png files
