Maybe this error from my Theme ??? (DS-Natural designed by DzinerStudio)

Angelina Belle

Let's try to narrow things down.

You think this is an error from your theme? Do you also have this problem when you use the default theme?
You have some mods that involve "reply" and, so, perhaps "quote". Maybe one of these (or an incompatability between 2 or more) is causing this problem.

Have you tried turning off or uninstalling some mods to see if the problem goes away when you do that?
How about "Remove images from quotes" -- that one seems to involve quotes.

When you get this problem, do you get any errors in the browser?
Do you get any errors in the forum's error log?

No, only CHROME browser

Do you see this error when you switch to the default (CURVE) theme?

Yes, same error :(

Angelina Belle

Then I guess we cannot blame the problem on your custom theme.

You have several mods which involve reply or quote.
Have you tried uninstalling all of these mods, to see if the problem goes away when these mods are uninstalled?

I would like to find out if the problem is from SMF or from one of the mods.

Isn't that the exact symptom of the buggy WYSIWYG system in 2.0.2?  Are you running WYSIWYG?  Try disabling it.

Oh yessss. I can quote after disable WYSIWYG
How to fix it ?

Angelina Belle

lttung -- I do not know what causes your problem.
I do not know if it is caused by SMF or by your mods.

Can you uninstall ALL the mods, one by one (in the reverse order that you installed them) and check for the problem after each uninstall?
If the problem goes away, we will know that a mod is causing your problem.

Thank you for checking.

It's a known (and I thought quite well known?) problem with the WYSIWYG editor.  There is no current fix that I am aware of other than keeping the WYSIWYG editor disabled.

After reading this I just tried quotes on my forum and on phpfreaks.com's forum using chrome and it worked like a charm. I only use four mods, three for spam and optimus brave. Only phpfreaks can tell you how many and which mods they use.

When i remove  WYSIWYG Quick Reply mod, error fixed

FrizzleFried

Welp... I stand corrected.  Time to go update the "other" thread I read blaming this on a bad WYSIWYG system...

Angelina Belle

lttung -- I am glad you found the problem.  I hope the mod's author will be interested in your bug report.
