Strange Problem

I am using SimplePortal on my homepage.

When my homepage loads (like http://www.mysite.com) my Google ads are not displayed.
My my homepage loads (like http://mysite.com/index.php) the Google ads load

Anyone come across this or know how to fix?

Where did you add the Google ads code?

It is my code from Adsense.  I know the code is good.  I just don't understand technically what is going on and why it won't load when I access mysite.com but it loads when i access mysite.com/index.php

Do you have any URL rewriting in your .htaccess file? Is your adsense configured to work with mysite.com but not www.mysite.com? If you can't get it to work with both, consider an .htaccess entry to redirect www.mysite.com to mysite.com (remove the www. ). Does everything work with http://www.mysite.com/index.php, to rule out (or in) an .htaccess problem with DirectoryIndex?
