Help-Calendar Event On board Index

I have been tryin all I could to set the maximum number of calendar events to show on my board index but to no avail.
Any one here know how to do it?...please help
and also want to make latest events appear before old events.
Helps and suggestions needed ...thanks.

I don't know the answer to your first question -- but I've asked for help.

I think that the answer to your second question is -- that would require some customization.  But I've asked about that, too.

1. SMF displays events based on the "Max days in advance on board index" setting in Admin -> Calendar. By default, it's 10, but you can change this if you want to display upcoming events further in advance. There is no easy way to tell it to always show a certain number of events without modifying the code some.

2. I'm not sure what you're asking here. SMF already displays events in order based on date - events that are happening soonest are displayed first, followed by those that will be happening later.
