Send Topic Feature

Is there a way of making the Send Topic feature a bit more user friendly. For example, rather than emailing it out to the person, the notification is sent to a member's personal message box.

That would be an excellent feature, hope someone has an easy trick to it.

You can make a request for a mod -- probably for SMF 2.0 -- Most modders have moved on to SMF 2.0

Well,   the send to friend option was build thinking on non-registered users, that is, persons who do not visit that forum.


if you want to tell an already registered member about a topic, then you can just directly send him/her a pm   or just wait for that user to see that topic since you both are members of the same forum and can use the unread and unreadreplies features.
