hi, well ive seem to have ran into an issue, my website was wokring just fine no problems, i left it for probably 15 min and now nobody can get on, this is the message i got:

\'./jd4255_smf/smf_log_online\' is marked as crashed and should be repairedFile: /home/jd4255/public_html/Sources/Subs.phpLine: 2615

not sure why i got this however i did have a few reports from my moderators of not beeing able to see some ip's of some members, particulary spammers, which we have been having a big issue with. anyways since this was my first issue with the site i read about the repair settings php file and i got it and uploaded it to my root directory which is my public htm folder (i think) i went to execute the file but i just get a 404 page not found error, everything is typed right this is what i typed in the adress bar: americaneaglesmodding.elementfx.com/public_html/repair_settings.php [nofollow] then i get the 404 error, maybe its just a dumb mistake on my part i sure hope so, im really hoping somebody here might be able to help me out, thanks in advance.

maybe another not to make, i noticed there was a subs.php and a subs.php~ file i thought maybe the subs php~ was a back up so i replaced the subs php with the subs~ info using notepad++ but that didnt work either, and both lines 2615 looked the same, after it didnt work i replaced the subs php file with the backup i made so everything was back to normal like it was before i tried swapping the two.

aslo i did try to execute the file by doing americaneaglesmodding.elementfx.com/repair_setting.php [nofollow] thinking i might as well try that, but i just got a 500 internal server error, x10 hosting hasnt been much of a help either lol

ahhh thanks so much, that worked great, i think im gonna go and back up my whole website now lol, again thank you very much, i just have one more question, why do things like that get corrupt, is that just something that happens over time or is there a specific problem that occurs to corrupt the file? (thanks again im so happy my site is back up an running, i really appreciate your help)

Illori

since mysql is a server run process server issues and similar could cause this to happen, nothing you really have control over.
