Replace that file with the original?
i ahve done that its still the same

kat

Probably not that file, then.

Try going to your site URL http://www.whatever.com/Agreement.txt

If that loads, your site's OK and we'll need to figure-out what's wrong.

Replace "whatever.com" with your forum URL, obviously.

Cario Blingz

still not working

this is what it is displaying...

Not Found
The requested URL /Agreement.txt was not found
on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was
encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument
to handle the request.

Apache/2.2.19 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.19
OpenSSL/0.9.8e-fips-rhel5 DAV/2
mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4

Illori

it should be agreement.txt not with the caps

Cario Blingz

Illori

check if the agreement.txt exists not Agreement.txt

kat

Hmm... Mine's DEFINITELY an uppercase "A".

Wonder what happened, there...?

No matter. :)

If that doesn't come-up, megawhite, it's "Contact your host" time, I'm afraid.

Illori

mine on my clean install is agreement.txt without the A

kat

Yeah. Heaven knows what happened, there.

Still, as I said, no matter. You put us right, so all's good. :)

Cario Blingz

yes mine is with the small 'a'   agreement.txt

Illori

well what you quoted above is Agreement.txt which would not be found if you have a linux server and the file is named agreement.txt

kat

You could post a link to your site. That'd make things a bit easier. ;)

Illori

have you asked your host to confirm there are no issues with your database or connection information on their end?

Cario Blingz

Illori

has your database username or password been changed recently? check your settings.php file to confirm the information is correct
