My forum link shows index.php script not forum.??

Forum has been working for years. Haven't touched in a month or better. Is it hacked?

They (hosting company) fixed it. They told me my .htaccess file was corrupt. They got a backup and it started working. Before that the forum link would show the test script for index.php?? Ever heard of this??

I posted test script but I meant to type text. The forum and all the links were text versions of the php.index file. I'm unclear how the htaccess file got changed and whether the breach was on my end of the hosting provider?? Any insight?

you would be best to ask your host they should have logs as to who has logged into your server.
