How do I redirect to another subdomain?

I have too many boards and I am wanting to redirect some of the boards with to a different subdomain. Can this be done? If so, how?

Please use simple language.

You can rearrange boards into categories, and you can put boards INSIDE boards, as "Child boards".
You can also move all the posts from one board to another board, and delete the unnecessary board.
This is how SMF 2.0 works.

If you wish to move the boards to another forum, in another subdomain, this will be another matter.
You would have to export the messages, import them into another forum, and make the second forum to use the first forum for logins. This would be very complicated.

I would recommend the first option, if at all possible!
