installation issue with version 1

Hi

I am having a problem. First let me tell you what I am doing. I would like downgrade from version 2 to 1. tried a convertor but thats not working so I thought about installing version 1 and overide version 2 (i didn't overide EVERYTHING LIKE images as these are the same).

Now i'm trying to install the  forum but having some problems. here are the problems:

On the installation page I am seeing these errors

Notice: Undefined index: mysql_settings in /home/rewatcom/public_html/forum/install.php on line 866

and the same kind of error notice at each section i'm suppose to put info in. I perseded to enter DB and password info and saw this error

Notice: Undefined index: error_mysql_database in /home/rewatcom/public_html/forum/install.php on line 1165

please help me. would have posted the code but it exceed word limits. don't even know how to locate those lines

there is no official way to downgrade from 2.0 to 1.1.* so what you are trying to do with get you no support.

The only way you could do that is if you use an old backup of the database that you had, when you had v1.x.

what I want to know is what causing those errors? I overide version 2 files so their shouldn't be any errors. I don't have any backup as this is the first SMF and this site.

I however have a version 1 and another site is it possible to transfer those files to the site?

no as the database structure has changed and the new database will not work with the old files.

looks like not all your files got uploaded to your server or partial files got uploaded.

but according to my knowledge all files are their. I however didn't overide images for version 2. I also have uploaded classic and babylon themes. could those be the reason why? i've never uploaded all themese in previous forums

the files may look like they are there if they are partially uploaded, you should try uploading them again.
