Way too many database errors and crashes, HELP

I get one or more database table issues each week and it's getting to be a pain in the butt.  The table that get marked as crashed more often than any other is "sessions", anyone know why this happens and is there anything I can do to stop these crashes.

It's a Dell SC1600 running Windows Server 2000 (yup old I know)

you should try posting in the server configuration board, but most servers run linux so i am not sure how much help you are going to get.

The sessions table is one of the most frequently used tables in SMF, but usually if any database table crashes more than once or twice it would be cause to suspect your server is not functioning quite correctly, or is badly configured...
