How to disable attachments?

How to disable attachments..

I dont wanna use build-in attachment because it will use alot of space at my hosting site..
I rather put mod for some famous hosting site....

Any suggestions...

admin -> attachments and avatars -> attachments settings attachment mod disable attachments
