how to remove hide show my email address option

i would like to know how to remove the hide show email address option from my forum.

when you read post if people have the email on show you can click the link and send them a email.

i would like this link to be removed.

can anyone help me

But, people can do the same by going to their profile, if they have that enabled.

So, removing that won't achieve much.

yes  want it so it hides there email and they cant have it on show.

so they have no option to show there email.

this stops spamming.

Yeah. I think it's a failing of SMF that e-mails aren't hidden, by default, myself.

To save you the hassle of editing files and the like, can I suggest that you send a mass-PM to your members, advising them to hide their e-mail addresses, explaining why?
