Create a custom search link

I want to create a link that when clicked, does a search for a set string.

For example, I would like a link that searched out all the You Tube vids on my forum. So what I was hoping to do was to create a search that searched for "youtube" as it's only search criteria. I know members could type that in, but I am trying to make it easier and more convenient for them.

I have been searching (no pun intended!) through the community boards and can find heaps on changing the search parameters, boards to search in and stuff, but nothign that seems to point me in the right direction to what I need.

Any ideas guys and gals of SMFville? Any pointers appreciated!

PS: If this is in the wrong area, feel free to move it. I couldn't see anywhere better to locate this question.

There are some search mods on the mod site,but i guess not what you are searching for,in this case i can suggest you to move your topic in Mod Requests Board

Edit: http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=1634 maybe this mod can be modified a bit more,so it will be what you need

Thx Kermit.... I will move it there and you are correct, it is not exactly what I am looking for.

I think I am on the right track, I have modified a search so it auto populates the search string, but still have to click the search button.... If only I could make that automatic, then I would be right!
