What file do I edit to make it say:
Site Contents and Design © 2005 Example.com
Powered by SMF. © 2001-2005, Lewis Media. All Rights Reserved.

dtm.exe

In index.php, find:
$forum_version = 'SMF 1.0.5';

and replace that with:
$forum_version = 'SMF';

Thanks, and how do I remove the <br /> and the name of my site?

honestly, i think it is very ironic that your asking for support here to help you modify the copyright.

That's just my opinion.
The only thing php can't do is tell you how much milk is left in the fridge.

Guys its already been stated that the changes he wishes to make are acceptable, so let it go.

You need to modify $forum_copyright found in index.english.php which is in your languages directory

is was also stated that
"you can remove the version number if you'd like, but dont expect to get good support here"

Those are my final words. Peace.

OK, you guys know how, now let's lock this before it turns into anything.

Remember thouogh, removing the version number, or changing the alignment are the only things that are ok to do!
