no that is not from the editor smf uses.

Ok, top of that file reads...

I wonder if it's something left over from a mod I used in SMF 1.1.14 and no longer use today.
I will skip over it for now and research it later, thanks..

Ok, most of the edits have been just removing line space or adding ?> at the end..

With the whizzypic.php file it ends like this.

function insensitive($a, $b) { //used by usort to sort file list case insensitive -------------------------
   return strcmp(strtolower($a), strtolower($b));
}

?>
</div>

</body>
</html>

Do I just delete the ?> that is there now and move it to the end?

It can be related to some gallery mod you have installed before (just making a guess :P).

Remove this code from the file and don't leave any space in the bottom.

you can always download that folder to your computer and delete it off the server to make sure it is not causing any issues.

ApplianceJunk

Will try that Joker, thanks...

All the rest of the files are in forums/Themes/dilbermc

That is a old theme from my smf 1.1.14 days that I never plan on using again.
Could I just go into my admin panel and remove it or would it be better to delete the forums/Themes/dilbermc file with FTP?

do both things to fully remove the theme from your forum.

Ok, have never added or removed a theme in SMF 2.0 yet. Thought I was just going to here and delete it.

Admin>Themes and Layout>Modify Themes>Dilber Multicolor

All I see for choices are...

Browse the templates and files in this theme.
Copy a template from the theme this is based on.

all templates inside folder BoardIndex.template.php, index.template.php etc. When you edit the those files, all must end with ?> and after that should not be anything, no character, no space.  ;)
I've attached file_check.php in my previous replies which do the exact task :).

ok, i didn't see. btw didn't know either for that file, tnx for it.  :)

OMG, and I could not find it...

I kept checking the Admin>Security and Moderation>Anti-Spam page for the registration verification image to show up as I have been editing the file.

Seems removing the two line spaces from the index.template.php file solved the problem :)

The registration verification image is back!

I need to going through the rest of the file to finishing editing them, but I still have to wonder what caused this in the first place.

great glad you could get it resolved.

Thanks, what are you thoughts on what caused the problem to start with?

Illori

some manual editing could have caused it or a mod install, hard to know exactly.

and you still have the recaptcha mod installed so we cant see the default captcha
