Needing a forum, but will this site allow?

So, I normally only make websites for people, or webdesigns, and I figured, well, it's time to make my own website for what I do best.
I didn't want to go through free webs because, I don't have that much time for myself, so I used Intuit. Fast, easy, sometimes reliable.
And quite frankly, I didn't want the hassle of doing loads of html work, for just myself. And I don't really explore other options on my own. I use what my clients are using. So...
Just recently I've discovered that I wanted a forum. Well guess what, Intuit doesn't actually have a ready-made forum or anything such as that, other than a blog, and I don't feel like blabbing away my life story on my website. Boring. So..here are my questions:

Has anyone encountered a problem with Intuit + forums?
Can I put the forum from your web place on my website off of Intuit?
If so, is someone willing to go through the steps with me?

I tried to download the webinstall, and it says I don't have a program for it, and when I tried to upload it to my Intuit file manager, it says it wasn't allowed.

(I have no hands on experience with forums, other than making them pretty.) I don't know how to add one other than off of a "free" site, which just gives you a plain white forum that you can't customize. Pretty lame.

If anyone has any information on this, please let me know.

Thank you much, and if you do find something, if you could give me a heads up email so I remember to come back here and read this,
that would be awesome.

I think you're confused. This site (simple machines) supplies forum software. It does not host anyone else's forum. Illori's question was whether your hosting service (presumably you have one for other site applications) has the necessary prerequisites to install and run SMF (or almost any other forum software, for that matter).
