Help with Header adjustment

First and foremost I want to thank ya'll for SMF
I use it through Godaddy and working with it has been very user friendly.

Now my question is:

I would like to set the header logo top dead center of the page and remove slogan line completely but for the life of me I can't figure it out.
It is probably so simple that I am just over looking it.

Chad, it will really help if you tell us which version of SMF you are using as well which theme you are trying to customize. This is really a Theme issue, so I'm going to move you to the themes board.

Looking at your site I see you are using 2.0.1. However, I'm still wondering which theme. As a different theme can show for users vs guests.

current thene is SMF Default Theme - Curve

I do not use a different theme for guest or users.

You are going to run into a small problem unless you move some code. The upshrink icon in the top right of the forum will be pushed below the banner if you do this. So if you don't like that, you'll need to open the index.template.php file and move the link/image code for it.

index.css file (about line # 365):

With the upshrink pushed below the banner that would be just fine.

So what is needed done to center the header logo or is that the code you posted.

Yes the code I posted has some comments in it to tell you what to remove and what to add.
