Unsure on how to proceed..

Hello, I was wondering if it's possible to apply a feature to the current forums that enabled the common user (non administrative or moderator, but is a registered member) to choose to hide their topic in a given forum from guests.  I read that it's possible to turn certain forums away from certain guests, as well as private user forums away from other users, but again, I'm mainly querying about whether or not there's an option for users to hide their own topics from guests.
