does anyone know why I'm getting this message?

Unsuccessful!
This query:

    REPLACE INTO {$to_prefix}settings (variable, value)
    VALUES ("conversion_time", 1247759783),
    ("conversion_from", "phpbb2_to_smf.sql");

Caused the error:

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '{$to_prefix}settings (variable, value)
    VALUES ("conversion_time", 1247759783)' at line 1

ups, looks like a bug / typo in one of our converter files... We'll fix it soon..

Don't care about the error message, the converter has finished  :)

I am also getting a similar error, my posts from the past year didnt convert over when I used the converter. Any ETA on a fix for this error? my members are all freaking out that 1000+ posts are gone.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you can use convert.php from this topic (scroll down, attached at the end)

Are you sure about the right database? maybe you converted an older backup?

Hi.

I got the same error. Does it matter? Can I continue using the forum without going back and re-converting?

Neo Rabid

yeah I converted using the active database, it times out or stops during the converting of the posts and gives me that error.

I'll try this new script and hopefully it works.
appreciate your help
