Suggestions for Urdu translations
« on: October 14, 2011, 03:34:01 PM »
Brothers in my opinion certain translations in urdu are not appropriate and need reconsideration. I have a background knowledge of urdu and experience with urdu poetry so I am daring to make these suggestions if you do not mind. Some of the suggestions are more precise for the word and some easily comprehensible for common people as in case of calendar and logout (the present translations will appear alien to majority of urdu users).

And I think there is another menu item which needs reconsideration

for home سرورق does not seem to be appropriate as it is actually translated into title therefore it creates confusion as in computer language title carries different meaning.

I think for home گھر should be more appropriate.
