subdomain creation?

I have missed asking questions on smf .
My 5 months here has been something Great and i must continue to thank you badest gurus  for your supports.

please i have many thing disturbing me concerning my forum

1. Is it advisable to run some download link sharing within google adsense forum??? like software downloads, musics and videos??
i have done alot of work here and i do not wish to create another forum

2. how can i create subdomain?? please i mean something like www.topnichez.com/downloads    not download.topnichez.com

3. i installed pretty url 2 months ago when i had 9k indexed pages with google, but i later removed it last month. now i have only 1500 index pages . i removed it cos i was having alot of "error log" coming from it.

please help

Hello there.

1. No, it's not allowed as far as I know.
2. That is not subdomain, just a directory actually. Just create folder "downloads" in your servers root, usually inside "htdocs" directory.
3. Okay, did you try some alternative mod, like Advance SEF URLs or smth?

Subdomain would look like download.topnichez.com [nofollow] and have to be set up in CPanel under domains/subdomains.
If you just want to create a folder the placement will depend on the host you are using. I have to place them in public_html on bluehost.
