add new colors to the post editor

hi,

everyone knows the default editor when creating a new post or thread. I like to add another color to the color dropdownlist.
so far I have been in GenericControls.template.php, in editor.js and in the Post-language file and changed the responsible values but it looks like I left something since the entry for the color shows up below "White" and is also automatically being added by using [ color ] tags (as usual), but when I save or create the post the entire [ color=newcolor ] text [ / color ] is visible as plain text.

Im sure im missing something somewhere, but I dont know where - pointing at the right place to help me out is appreciated

thanks, let me add that Im running an SMF 2.0.1 board (forgot to add it, my bad), the mod is for 1+ versions.
Im also running the default theme.
