Images Not Loading

I recently switched the board "new post notification"images on my forums. However, the new images are not loading on all browsers.

Safari will load them, but Chrome, IE and Firefox load the replacement text. Do I need to drop the resolution, or is there another reason they might not be loading?

They could be cached on Safari, so my bet is that the paths are wrong on the images. A link to your forum would be helpful.

The theme I'm using is a modified AvaraMu

The path could be wrong... When I was changing the images, I couldn't find the file that actually set the file path to the new/no new posts. So what I did was I just deleted the original file and uploaded a new one with the same name & hoped the path would work.

Since I just changed the images, I don't think they're cached.  (Safari loads the new ones) But something clearly went wrong...

Even in Safari, I am getting a 404:

Can you upload your images to that folder ?

Really? I uploaded the image to that folder (a lower res version) just ten minutes ago.

Although... THAT image was saved as OFF.gif, not off.gif. Could that be a problem?

I can see it now. UNIX, case matters. Windows, case doesn't. Not sure of what your server conditions are. But I can see OFF.gif and off.gif just fine now.
