Error, please help.

Please attempting to update has given me several errors, I deleted the new files and restored a backup as they were originally, I get this error and I can not do anything:


session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cookie - headers already sent by (output started at /htdocs/public/foro/Settings.php:2)

What version are you upgrading from and what version are you upgrading to?

Which upgrade package are you using?

First thank you for answering, I'm desperate, the version that was fixed was the 1.0.8 upgrade and put the 1.1.15.

When I saw that had the error you stated, I put everything back, but my concern has come when the error remains the same.

That error is saying that the files are in the wrong place, that's all.

Do you have a "public_html" directory?

If so, they all want to go in there, dearchived.

so if the folder exists the permissions are incorrect on it

How do I chmod? / what is chmod?

as i stated above you have a redirect from foro to FORO which will not work if you have a linux server, find out how it was placed and remove it and try again.

foro and photo are not found on your server.... do some testing and find a url that actually works and post back once it does.

do you usually use another language other then english? if so remove those language files and try again. then install the language files after you are done.

well follow exactly what the error message says, make sure all the language files and theme files are uploaded and old are deleted. actually this message also says that some other files may be outdated, so upload the large upgrade package again.
