SMF v2 Doesn't "See" Updates (Please Help!)

Hi,

I have two installations of SMF on one server:

1. http://www.wpn.org/SMARTquestions/
and
2. http://www.wpn.org/marinbb/

Both were moved from another server, at the same time and following the same procedures.

Everything works GREAT with (2) (MarinBB). When I am in the Admin area, the installation "sees" when there are updates, and shows installed and available versions.

But in (1) (SmartQuestions), when I am in the Admin area, the installation does not "see" new available updates.

Also -- in both versions -- I have Feed Poster installed -- in MarinBB, it automatically runs the cronrss routine on its own -- but in SmartQuestions, even though the settings are the same, cronrss runs only when I manually load its URL. Another clue?

Any  help would be most gratefully appreciated!

Note to SMF 2.0 users...

If this isn't showing up in your admin center, you have a couple of options:
Download it from the Upgrades Site and install it through the package manager
Run the "Fetch Simple Machines Files" scheduled task as follows:
Admin -> Maintenance -> Scheduled Tasks
Check the box in the "Run Now" column next to "Fetch Simple Machines Files"
Click the "Run Now" button
