Good day everyone

I would like to use the header for my site with my forum instead of the header present there. How can i use mine? what should I edit? I have already add a bridge which will allow members of the site to login with their username instead of registering for the forum.

Please help me.
Think you'll better be able to help if you look at my site and forum

I know its possible as I see others have it. I'm using SMF 1.1.14

Thanks

In your theme's index.template.php find the opening <body>'; tag. (Keep a copy of the file, as a backup).

On the next lines, add this:

<a href="http://myforumurl.com">
<center><img style="margin-top:6px" border="0" src="/Banner.gif" width="800" height="90" alt="Forum" title="Forum" /></a></center>

The image will be clickable, to take you to whatever you change "http://myforumurl.com" to.

Obviously, you'll want to change the height, width, alt and title to suit.

That assumes that the header is named "Banner.gif" and it's in the root of your forum.

By the way, you REALLY ought to patch-up to SMF v1.1.15, coz it plugs a security hole.
