Forum and Portal

Alright, so I've installed PortaMx on my SMF 2.0.1 forum and so far all is well. The only problem I'm having is that it makes a a few new buttons in my forum menu bar, "Home" and "Community." The
Home
button loads
http://mysite.com/forums/index.php
and the
Community
button loads
http://mysite.com/forums/index.php?action=community
. I want the portal's
Home
button to load
http://mysite.com/index.php
and its
Community
button to load
http://mysite.com/forums/index.php
. I thought of somehow moving certain files around to the root of public_html, but I'm not exactly sure which files to move around. I also have an index.html in the root of my public_html, so could this be a possible problem?
Any help on this is appreciated, and thanks in advance.

1. Have a look at their website.
2. Have a look at the mods own topic.
