What is the ['mc'] array used for?

Can anyone give me an idea what the $_SESSION['mc'] array, or more specifically the ['mc']['time'], is used for?

I'm doing some exploration, looking for when and where the SMF system tracks a member's 'actual' login time. Or the start of the Sesssion. I haven't found anything that looks right except for the [mc][time] variable or the [robot_check], which appears to come in a bit earlier.

Anybody who can point me in the right direction concerning the tracking of an actual session would have my undying gratitude. :)

the mc is for mod cache. It is set in Load.php. Besides that I have nothing

And they all believed their ancestors were simplistic and deluded. What are the odds that you are the first generation of humans who will understand reality?"

Thanks. That gives me an idea of what I was looking for.
