SMF Footer

Hi,

I just joined and am using this software for the very first time and am enjoying the software. Unfortunately I have an issue that I am not sure can be resolved...

In the footer is of course the copywrite information for SMF, that is all good and how it should be.....however it also says...

'Webhosting by Netfirms'

I do not want my users to know what I pay in hosting costs for my website and forum, quite frankly it is nobody's business but mine. It takes just a quick click on that link to see what I pay and that may be the deal breaker for me, I am just not comfortable with that. It is not on my main site and I don't want it on the forum. So what I need to know is...

Can I remove that, leaving all the SMF copywrite information? Or is it not legal?

that is not a default part of the copyright, i guess you used your hosts installer to get smf in place, ask your host if you can remove it. or you could just upload the files from the installer and it should go away.
