i uninstalled dream-portal and it left me this, l0l!

I have a backup file but when i go to my hosting website and import the files, nothing happens. So i went to my website and tried to uninstall dream-portal, it left me this

Edit index.php to remove the require once statement on line 55.  Providing there are no other code errors after that line, that should get you back up.

What did you backup exactly? The index.php file being referenced is at the root of where your site lives. As in this file:

um when u go to the website>admin>system maintenance>database>download backup.

I think that gave you a nice backup of your forum's content, not really the files that make that content display. Much like you attached the Modifications.english.php file to a reply, mind doing the same for the index.php file that lives two folders above where you got the other one?

Give the attached a whirl. It should overwrite the index.php at the root of your site displayed in the screen shot you provided...one sec...noticed some additional needed edits.

Well, I see three similarly named files, none of which are named specifically index.php. Where is it? this one seems to work. Can you rename it to be index.php?

What are the somethings you added? The backup file I think you made is about the posts/boards/topics/members, essentially, the content of your site. The mods and such that you have installed/uninstalled really only affect the display of that content. So, what did you add that you think you have to re-add?

wait wait wait. im having the same troubles when i had dream-portal installed. ok, ever since i installed dream-portal i had ezportal uninstalled and dreamportal installed and when i went to uninstall dreamportal it wasnt uninstall somehow and when i install (i thought dreamportal was uninstalled @ that time) ezportal they both installed and that made the whole problem

if you look @ my pic, i have ezportal installed but it wont show up in my admin panel so i cant edit anything on ezportal.

OK. It seems to me that you have installed/uninstalled a couple of portals. And based on the errors on uninstalling ezportal, it's possible that it is still there in your list of installed mods, but I surely don't see it invoked on your site nor do you see it available in the admin area of your site. It is failing on every possible edit. At the bottom, is there something like a Proceed with install option?

i uninstalled dream-portal and deleted it.

Maybe or maybe not. It's not really apparent why those tests are failing. Better to just remove it now if you are not going to use it. It's rather simple to have a look at the files after the Uninstall Now option and see what hasn't been removed. Sure, it's possible your site will be unoperational during this time, but that's not a reason not to uninstall it.

ok so i manage to uninstalled it and re-installed it and it works but when i go to hover admin and i see a black tab thingy and when i click that, i get this error http://prntscr.com/4b8wy

OK. Considering this is now really about dream-portal, I am thinking you should be asking in the support topic for that mod. Where did you get the mod? I see it's not available here any more. I know it used to be, but there are only 6 available to most people and dream-portal is not one of those.

same here, i couldn't find it but some one told me to go to dream-portal.net to get custom tabs on your navigation bar but i don't want dream-portal because its creating problems.
