Changes to my forum board

I wonder if anyone knows if this is possible.

My current forum has a number of boards availabe to everyone when they log in



What I'd like to do is have my main football related board on show with all topics on show on the main screen, with the other boards around it.

Example.



I'm running SMF 2.0.1 on the astonished theme.

that is a childboard or subboard, they can not be existing boards but new boards you create

Sorry Illori, not sure i follow.

I've created 6 boards within the General category. The Football board that everyone posts in, I'd like to take out of the General category list, and have it open up automtically when people log into the forum. The other boards will still have to be selected from within the general category.

that is not possible by default with smf

That could be done with a portal mod, where you can specify the default frontpage.
