hi i get this error when integrate the gallery the path is ok but when cic in the gallery apper this error when access directly at the url work ok

That means that SMF thinks your account is linked to a Gallery account, but it isn't. Search the forum on the project site for more info on how to fix this issue

I just uninstalled SMF Gallery Lite to upload/install Gallery 2, but it isn't happening. I started with latest version and worked back, but it still isn't happening. Is it possible that you might show me where to start from scratch w/o any gallery of any type installed, please?

When it does download the zipped file doesn't show anything in it at all. I'm using 7Zip... freeware.

I'm using Helios Multi by Bloc as my theme.

What browser are you using?

The files are tar.gz, not zip, but 7-Zip does support that format.

wow im almost done. im having problems though. i think i have the "path to gallery" and "url to gallery" right but then when i click gallery, in the menu, its telling me user allready exists type password, which i do then i go to a blank page??? ive had a rough week of installing this new forum, converting old board installing new g2 and modding them together, im frustrated. what the heck am i missing?
i made a dummy account also, and when i log in i dont see the gallery tab in the menu?
probably doesnt matter but its at...http://themasterangler.com/smfforum/index.php

The blank page is a known issue - in some situations, a session variable that's set to remember your G2 user data isn't being remembered (not sure why), which makes SMF think you're trying to create a new account, but the name of the password field is different in that situation than it is when you're trying to link to an existing account, which causes other issues (and the blank page). Search the project board for a solution.

For the gallery tab - make sure that you've given all users permission to view the gallery.

Does this work with SMF 2.0? How about languages, can i use english with gallery if i use finnish in SMF?

I haven't upgraded yet but am very interested in a 2.0 compatible gallery mod. I know that's one of the big things on my upgrade checklist.

No, the current version doesn't work with SMF 2.0. The upcoming RC1 release will work with 2.0 though. You can't easily use English with the gallery when you're using Finnish in SMF because the integration is set up so the language used in the gallery is the same as the language you're using in the forum.

I am hoping to have RC1 out in a few weeks. I'm pretty much done writing the new version - I just have some additional testing and tweaking to do (then I need to write the version that doesn't use SMF's integration hooks, which won't be too difficult).

I have noticed that some things I change in SMF are not updated in the gallery. For instance, I renamed a group of members from "ABC" to "XYZ" in the SMF, yet the membergroups in the gallery2 shows still "ABC"

Are there still problems when synchronizing the data?

It should be changed in Gallery as well.

Do you have the "Link membergroups" option enabled in SMF?

If so, are there any errors in your forum error log related to the Gallery?

I am not aware of any problems with data synchronization.

Yes, I have the "Link membergroups" enabled.

I've just created a new user and saw if her member status changed also in gallery2, and It did!
