Coding issue

Ok,

So the person who made the theme, there forum is  not on line.  Bit I need to change a quick setting that I know I can do.

When I post a post, the first one is usually all in black, when someone posts the post under me, there posts are in gray.  I want to change that so they are all one color.  I know it can be done but I forgot how
