500 Internal Server Error when Uploading a Mod?

Hi, I'm trying to install Simpleportal, the latest version, but it wont let me. I get the 500 Internal Server Error. It only happens when I try and install Simpleportal.

It gives me a 500 Internal error message.

Any ideas? I've CHMOD'd all of the following like said in here: http://docs.simplemachines.org/index.php?topic=5.0 to 777, but it still won't work.

sounds like your server does not like chmod 777 try chmod 644 on the zip and see if it will install then.
