Error when trying to upgrade 1.1.15 to 1.1.16 - Reopened

Shown as closed on another thread but the problem is still there for us

The automatic link to update still shows an error

In admin the prompt is there  "It is recommended that you update your forum to the latest version as soon as possible. It only takes a minute!"

Done this many times for previous updates and its fast and easy, even I can do it 

But on this one I get the error:

"The package you are trying to download or install is either corrupt or not compatible with this version of SMF"

Question is after reading the other thread on this, can you make it work so simple people like me can do the update as we normally do? Come on guys you have a great forum and there must be loads of people like me with this error looking for an easy solution.

Getting the error on all our forums. Anyone else still having this problem?

That points to a patch_2.0.2.tar.gz is that correct for 1.1.15 update and for us simple folk is the problem at our end or with the auto update link.
If the latter will there be a fix at your end to resolve it?

Uploaded your zip to the package folder using FTP then browsed the packages in packet manager and installed it, all forums now upto date no problem.  Could your zip file not be put on the update link in the forum to make it automatic for others? Anyway all sorted for me
