SMF 2.0.x Default Curve - Relocate header stuff

The attached image should tell the story, but I'll explain it too.
I'm working on a theme, and trying to get the "User info" to the left of the "Site Logo" (centre), and have the "Search" to the right of the logo...all on the same level.
I added the <center> tags to the logo, which got the logo centred, but pushed the others down.
<div> and sometimes <table> tags confuse the heck out of me.

"Site Slogan" (maybe above "Search"?), and "News" (below "Search") would be fine.

I know it's Christmas, so I'm not expecting this to be solved today.
