Help editing footer please

I'm using Darkbreak as a template, and I cannot figure out how to remove the footer areas to show the background. I'm sure it will be totally obvious when you see what I'm talking about. Also, right below the banner, the curved areas are pointy even though I'm positive I've edited the graphics for each side to round them off. Any ideas would be super helpful! Thanks!
