I was also informed that the server is lagging badly due to all the emails being sent.

Would it be these errors?

Should  I turn off emails from being sent? Would this hurt forum activity? Is there a way to switch it on and off?

Chas Large

Well the answers are given in the three reports.

The first message was sent to a blank e-mail address

The second contains an e-mail address with an underscore in it which is sometimes not allowed in an e-mail address

The third contains an e-mail address with a ' in it, again that's sometimes  but mostly not allowed in an e-mail address.

See this list:

http://www.remote.org/jochen/mail/info/chars.html

I suggest you ask your users to change their e-mail addresses or ask your HOSTING provider if they can give a list of the mail forms they disallow or use a different mail service.

Thanks. If they are invalid anyway I can do that.

Perhaps you should enable the mail queue and adjust it to send every hour or half hour.

If it fixes the problem I'd do it. How do I do this?
