Oh boy do I. And then some.

I actually posted up a quad-set of errors that got generated from somewhere in profiles earlier today. Think I put it on that mod's thread. Hoping that the set of 4 instant errors would help reveal some clues to that.

Anyone? If someone knows how to fix these I'll  be very grateful for the help. Just need to be steered in the right direction.

It says it is a guest that received the error, how can a guest be getting email or trying to get email? My error log is filled with these, they come in several a minute.

That's fine.
Live made me a diff file of my site. Did you want me to PM or email it to you? Maybe it would shed some light on all of this.

I don't want to attach it as it could be a security risk, I don't know.

it is no more a security risk then running your site on old code with security risks in it. but we requested your files so we can go from there which may be easier for us to work with then a diff.

Thank you again, that would be fine. I do have my files zipped, I manually downloaded sources folder, SSI and one other in public html, and my themes folder files.  Did you want me to email them to you?

as long as they do not include your settings.php file that would be fine, and i can forward it to K@.

and please dont include any attachments.

They are zip files; how would I send them without attaching them? I'm sorry, I'm not trying to argue I'm just not sure what to do.

Settings.php what folder is that normally in? I could check and see if it got included.

well my email address is in my signature and the settings.php file is in the main smf folder along with SSI.php etc.

In public HTML? No I only included 2 files form there, settings is not one of them.

They are zipped, as there are a couple hundred files or something. I'd need to send them as attachments. Would this be okay? If not, let me know what would be.

Oh, you mean like, sending you my whole lovely database full of cat posts. No, this is php files I manually downloaded for Live to make his diff file from. I'll go send you these from my gmail.

Actually, looking at that second list of errors, it doesn't seem to be for a guest. It's for someone named "loner" and the error was because he/she "Ran into problems sending Mail". Error: 501 <>: missing or malformed local part.

So, I wonder who he was trying to mail...

they shouldn't be trying to email anyone. Guests should have no access to member emails at all.

Guests are called loners on my forum, so anything labelled loner is a guest.

Also YAGAM was installed, can't get rid of its code now without breaking the forums. 

Users online Today and Active users in last 24 hours also used to be used. Both uninstalled, code may be lurking in there.

K: On my forum, the word "guest" is replaced by "loner." I will look though. But these errors happen thousands a day all the time.
